Challenges

The product owner was not tech-savvy and needed someone to regularly oversee the development of the project, check for bugs, and address other technical issues. Additionally, he needed help communicating all issues to developers and other team members promptly.

Analysis of the Project

Our Software project management team first properly analyzed their entire project to find out what is the real problem. The four main problems our team identified were:

1. Jira Project Management

Next, to keep the client informed, we scheduled biweekly meetings. The client reviewed the projects and communicated any necessary changes. This approach made sure that we stayed aligned with the client's demands. 

5. Detailed Jira Project Dashboard

Moreover, we created a detailed project dashboard in Jira to provide the product owner with real-time access to all work.  With the project dashboard, the client can see task statuses, such as whether they are under review, ready for development, in progress, or ready for quality assurance. 

6. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

We addressed the issue of incomplete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by using a structured approach in Jira. Each UAT task was given to the right team member with clear deadlines. This helped the team track progress more easily. We also used Task Dependencies to link development, testing, and UAT tasks. This allowed the team to spot and fix blockers early.

2. The client is now able to supervise the progress of the project more efficiently by using the Jira Project Dashboard. 

3. There are no more delays in development work as everything is scheduled properly, thanks to effective sprint planning.
